Double pocket doors allow you the freedom to change your room from open plan to cosy in one easy movement without constraining your room layout.

Imagine opening up and closing off different areas of your layout in an instant, with doors that are there when you need them, and slide into a pocket in the wall when you don’t. And because the doors slide into a pocket in the wall, the doors themselves do not take up valuable space in the room when they are open.

The Eclisse double sliding pocket door system can also be installed against an existing masonry wall by simply creating a false stud wall alongside the existing masonry one. All you need to do is to construct the frame in exactly the same way, still applying plasterboard to both sides of the frame for strength. By doing this you will only be adding 95mm or 100mm thickness to the existing wall. This is nothing compared to the space you will save by installing pocket doors instead of traditional hinged doors!

A quick word about your studwork

When you choose an ECLISSE pocket door system the first thing to consider is matching your stud thickness to the right ECLISSE pocket door thickness and the table below shows you how to do this. Why are you looking to match it up? Because when it matches up, plaster boarding the pocket and the rest of the wall is as quick and easy as it possibly can be.

We recommend that you use either timber or metal stud in the table below. These are the most readily available stud work sizes and to make life easier we make frames to match.

Our pocket door systems come in standard overall frame sizes designed to perfectly fit a wide range of standard door panel sizes. Our technical specs give you all the information you need to decide on your choice of frame. You need to make sure you have enough overall space to build the stud work to accommodate and install the overall frame. You can then look at the range of overall frame sizes that will fit into the space you have available and the technical spec will tell you the door panel sizes that the different frames will accommodate.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THIS KIT:

Galvanised steel frame Strong galvanised steel frame. A quick-click frame that assembles into a complete unit comprising of two full pockets and a track.
Runners Runners are tested to 100,000 cycles (that’s around 25 years of average use!)
Extractable Track Track can be extracted without having to break into the wall. (See Tech Tips section in Technical tab for instructions).
Front and rear door stop Can be adjusted to determine how far the door protrudes from the pocket.
Metal anti-warp door profile Slots into a channel in underside of door. Not visible but ensures that if your door warps it continues to slide smoothly.
Self centering door guide Clicks into frame, doesn't screw into the floor, so it is perfectly centred every time.
Fixings Even the screws to attach the plasterboard to the frame are included.
Jamb kitComes complete with jamb kit made with beechwood veneer* that is unfinished and paint/stain ready. The jamb kit includes dustbrushes and recessed door post with integral bumpers for a professional finish. What is a jamb kit? View explanation and see parts list here.

OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES: BIAS® soft-close with anti-slam, BIAS® DS Bi-directional soft-close with anti-slam, double door coordination kit and also soft-close.

GUARANTEE: 15 year guarantee on the complete Eclisse steel pocket system and runners.

NOTE: When fitting flush pull handles we recommend the stop be regulated so the door protrudes from the pocket to avoid risk to fingers. Should the door be adjusted to enter the pocket completely we do not accept any liability.

DOOR PANEL WEIGHT: 100kg (150kg available on request)

BESPOKE SIZING AVAILABLE?: Yes- Max door panel width 2026mmm; Max door panel height 2910mm. For width sizes over 1300mm and heights over 2600mm a finished wall thickness of 150mm is required.

DOOR THICKNESS: 35 - 44mm

FINISHED WALL THICKNESS: 95, 100, 115, 125 or 140mm (for double boarding the 90mm frame)

SYSTEM TYPE: For use with timber doors
